Deja Vu (Tag Naveen) Empty
PostSubject: Deja Vu (Tag Naveen)   Deja Vu (Tag Naveen) EmptyFebruary 12th 2013, 6:58 pm

Dark locks of hair brushed across tan skin as the wind blew. Aladdin paid no regard to the bits of bangs now in his view. He wasn't sure where he was, and he didn't care. One thing he had gotten used to in Nirethia was never being alone, even after years of being on his own. But, now that Jim was gone, he didn't have anyone anymore. He was alone in this huge place with people who cared even less about him than the villagers did in Nirethia. He pulled his jacket closer around his thin frame and tugged his hood to cover his head better as the rain fell. He was soaked through as it was, but at least the blanket helped block a little of the cold winds. It was night time, but the city did not quiet as Nirethia would have. Hell, if anything, people got more rowdy.

Aladdin walked silently along the sidewalk, ignoring how people shoved into him without a second thought. He only paused as he heard music. Sure, he had heard other music before, but not like the kind that was playing. It was familiar music -- like the music played in the kingdom as opposed to the strange music people were listening to in this world. He moved towards the sound and found himself at a dance studio. Under the awning at the front door, he could feel the warmth from inside. It was intoxicating. But, that wasn't exactly what caught his eye. It was the teacher who moved so effortlessly and skillfully. He moved like it was second nature; and, because Ali knew this boy, he also knew that it was truly second nature. "Naveen..." He whispered, his heart pounding in his chest as he truly realized what this meant. He wasn't alone here.

In his daze there at the door, a woman came and opened the door for him, thinking he had had trouble trying to get it open. "Sorry -- it gets stuck sometimes," She giggled. Aladdin was too far in a haze to really respond to her. He simply nodded. "Do you have any business here...?" The girl asked after a moment. Aladdin looked to her then and smiled sheepishly. "It's just... warm in here... And dry," He mumbled, glad his hood was up so that Naveen wouldn't be able to recognize him. The woman smiled sympathetically and guided him to go and sit by the fireplace near the desk. He curled up there, leaning on the stone beside the fire and watching Naveen quietly. Should he say something? Naveen was busy dancing, afterall. And what if he didn't remember him? This boy looked like nothing was out of the ordinary -- like he'd always lived here. Aladdin chewed his lip aimlessly and kept his face in the shadow of the hoodie.

"Alright. Let's try something different," Naveen said to the group of people around him, laughing light-heartedly, a bright smile on his face, as he made his way over to the front desk, and started rifling through some cds. Naveen still found them so odd, but they were pretty cool, and he had recently found one that had music on it similar to what he had grown up with. He smiled fondly as he pushed the disc into the player and then turned to face his students, his expression playful. "Follow my lead," he instructed lightly before turning around again and counting himself off with his foot.

Once he got started, Naveen was swept away in the familiar rhythm, letting his body take control. He spun and moved gracefully as he let the music guide his movements, occasionally glancing behind himself at his students and smiling as he watched them follow him. His head then spun around to look at the door when he heard it open, nodding with a welcoming smirk to the stranger, and then winking playfully over to his coworker. He returned to his dance, now starting to move around his students, guiding them a bit, his gaze sometimes shifting back to the boy who had entered. As the next song started, Naveen would motion to the strange boy, inviting him to dance, slowly making his way closer to where he sat.

As he sat there, Ali couldn't help but be reminded up the first time he had seen Naveen dance. He was just as captivated now. He would not have heard the music change if it were not for Naveen requesting for him to join. He kept quiet, but stood up, his clothes now dry from the fire. He kept his hood up to conceal his face, as he did not want to be recognized just yet. Maybe he could impress him by showing he did remember all of those lessons they had had together.

He found it easy to move with the song like it had been just yesterday that he had stopped dancing. Maybe the ease was what Naveen found so appealing about dancing. Through his dancing, he kept his gaze on Naveen, just as intoxicated by the boy's movements as he had been when they met.

Naveen smiled warmly over to the boy as he stood, quickly looking back at the students, giving them encouragement, and then wordlessly inviting the new boy to follow him to the front of the group. Naveen stopped when he was in front of all the other dancers, standing with his back to the wall of mirrors-facing everyone, his arm crossed over his chest. He watched his regular students for a bit before he turned his attention to the strange boy in the hoodie. He nodded, impressed, as he watched the boy for a bit, and then smirked mischievously as he started to make his way over to the boy. He stopped just in front of the boy, turning briefly to the woman at the front desk and motioning for her to put on a song, and turning his gaze back to the hidden face of the boy in front of him. "Let's try some partner dancing," he called out to the people in the room.

Everyone partnered up, leaving just Naveen and the new boy. Naveen held out his hands and raised his eyebrows invitingly, bowing his head in slightly and smirking flirtatiously. He then gently took the other males hand, placing his other hand on the boy's waist, and then he made a face before chuckling softly. "Now don't you think anything of this. We only have so many girls," he joked lightly, not wanting the other male to feel uncomfortable. He started the dance slow, easing them into it, but they soon picked it up and fell into the rhythm. There was something familiar about this dance-the way it felt, how the other boy worked with him. It was like when he had danced with-But no, it couldn't be. Could it?

Naveen continued their dance through the rest of the song, occasionally making playful faces and humming quietly to the song. He finished off the song by spinning the boy and then dipping him over his knee as he knelt to the ground. As the boy spun, his hood started to loosen around his face, and when Naveen leaned the boy over his knee, the hood fell back, causing Naveen to freeze, his eyes widening and his jaw dropping in disbelief. It couldn't be....Could it? He slowly brought the boy back up so that he was up right, looking at the boy's face with quizzical eyes. "Al?" he asked hesitantly, his voice just above a whisper.

Aladdin smiled a bit as Naveen decided to move into partner dancing. He'd always loved dancing with him. He chuckled slightly as Naveen tried to play off the close distance between them -- was he still not sure of himself? As they started, he easily found that he became lost in the moment -- the perfect timing of their dancing and the way they moved together without flaw. It brought back old memories that made his heart race like a hummingbird in his chest -- a feeling he thought had died in the fire as well. He was so swept up in it that he didn't even notice his hood was coming loose until it was too late and he felt Naveen freeze in their dance. He stood up straight and smiled sheepishly, his brown eyes looking upon Naveen.

"Hi... Navy," Ali whispered back, his lips tugging up in a faint smile. He was easily distracted by the gazes of the students. He blushed softly and hid behind his bangs the best he could.

Naveen was brought back to focus as Aladdin moved to stand back up, and he helped him and then stood up as well. A small nervous smile started to pull at the corner of his lips as Aladdin greeted him, and confirmed his suspicions, but it quickly fell when Al turned his gaze away, causing Naveen's eyes to widen and quickly search around them. 'Oh. Right,' Naveen thought as he mentally slapped himself, as he remembered where he was, and who he was with. "Alright. I think we can call it a night. I'll see you all next lesson," he proclaimed, making his smile bright as he clasped his hands together.

As everyone started to leave, Naveen would smile and nod to them all in farewell, waving to some, and hugging a few, and laughing lightly with them. He rested his hands on his hips as he watched them all leave, including his coworker-assuring her he'd lock up. When everyone was gone, Naveen suddenly felt a bit nervous, and he rubbed the back of his neck as he stared at the ground for a while, chewing on his bottom lip a bit as well. He then slowly turned around to face Aladdin, lifting his gaze hesitantly up to meet Aladdin's warm chocolate hues, and smiling shyly when he did, his gaze quickly shifting away again as his eyes searched around the room. "You hungry?" he asked as his gaze slowly worked its way back to Aladdin, a crooked smile on his lips. "I've got some stuff upstairs," he explained with a small shrug, gesturing towards the stairs to his apartment with his eyes-his smile growing a bit as his eyes shifted back to meet Aladdin's.

Aladdin found the time Naveen was distracted useful to him as he could control his heartbeat now. He didn't want to seem like a flustered fool. But, he was. He couldn't hide that -- he'd never been able to. He had started to get used to being alone again, and now he knew he wasn't. Then again, he wasn't even sure Naveen would want him around after the way he treated him. They had made up, though, right? He nodded as he tried to keep that in mind. He didn't want to be alone.

He looked up when Naveen had finally cleared out the room, his brown eyes curious now. "Upstairs?" He questioned, arching a brow. He looked towards where Naveen gestured and smiled a bit crookedly. "You don't have to feed me... I mean, I'm not that hungry," He tried to say, but his stomach growled in objection to that. He smiled sheepishly after that. "Calm down, Naveen..." He assured, seeing how the other was nervous. He knew Naveen's subtle giveaways when it came to him being shy or nervous.

Naveen smirked hearing the growling of Aladdin's stomach. 'Something's just don't change,' he thought fondly, still rubbing his neck-and then his face before letting his hand rest back on his hip. He then chuckled softly at the other male's assurance, shaking his head towards the ground with a lightly amused crooked grin on his face, before he peered up at Al through his lashes. "Let me just lock up the place and then we can head up," he laughed as he started backwards to the front door. Naveen made his way around the store, locking the door, closing the blinds, and turning off the lights, and then he headed over to the lit staircase that led to his apartment-coming up behind Aladdin on his way and tapping on the boy's shoulder, then motioning for him to follow him with his head, before continuing on his way.

As he walked up the stairs, Naveen would every so often look back at Aladdin with a cheerful grin, and then laugh brightly as he turned his gaze ahead again. "Welcome to my humble abode," he said authoritatively once he had opened the door and turned on his light. "Kind of reminds me of a nicer version of your old place," he continued as he moved to the small kitchen, looking back at Aladdin with a shy smile. "So what are you hungry for?" he asked, quickly looking back ahead and starting to look through his mostly bare cupboards. "I'm sure I could fix something up for you," he added with a laugh, just barely looking over at Aladdin before he returned his focus to searching for food.

Aladdin felt lighter as he watched Naveen smile and laugh. He had forgotten the contagious aura of happiness that surrounded the other male. Then again, that same aura was one of the first things Aladdin had fallen in love with when it came to Naveen. He was so much different than the other people Ali came into contact with on a normal basis. Kinder, funner, more warmhearted. It was hard not to love the other male. If you tried not to, you were a fool.

Having been a bit lost in thought, Ali jumped slightly when Naveen tapped him on the shoulder, simply because he hadn't been expecting Naveen to be there. He smiled shyly and followed the other up the stairs, grinning his old boyish smile and chuckling softly when Naveen would look back at him and laugh. When they reached the apartment, Ali couldn't help but arch a brow. He'd never thought Naveen would dare live in anything less than a mansion. This place was just a better kept version of the place Ali had lived in before. One that didn't threaten your life with every subtle movement made. His attention came back to the other as he spoke up again, asking about food. "Anything, really... I'm not picky," He shrugged. "You really don't have to feed me, Navy--een... " He caught himself, the boys nickname just a reflex to his tongue. "I mean... You don't look like you're doing so well on keeping yourself stocked up," He pointed out, leaning on a counter. "Not used to not having someone to buy your food for you?" He teased, his brown eyes playful.

Naveen laughed shyly at Aladdin's teasing, dropping his head briefly-and shaking it lightly-before looking up at the boy to the side with a crooked grin. "Yeah. It is a new experience. But I don't think I'm doing too bad," he answered Aladdin, leaning towards the other male a bit as he smirked cheekily with bright eyes, and then nudging him playfully, before standing back uo-and laughing lightly-and starting to pull out ingredients to make pasta. "I was blessed though. To have Gran find me," he continued fondly as he grabbed a pot. He moved over to fill the pot with water from the sink, and then set it on the stove and started it up. "So what've you been up to?" Naveen asked cheerfully, turning his gaze over to Aladdin, as he dumped the pasta into the water. It was an innocent enough question, but still, it caused Naveen's stomach to tighten as he started to imagine what Aladdin might say. He kept himself looking relaxed though as he turned his attention to the boiling water for a moment, and then turned around to face Aladdin-leaning against the counter as he crossed his arms over his chest, tightly, to try and dull the pain in his abdomen.

Aladdin watched Naveen with a light smile on his lips. Of course, as he mentioned Fa, Al only nodded a bit -- he'd heard numerous times of Fa's heroics. Of course, he was still a bit jealous that Naveen had been chosen to come off the streets instead of himself. At the question, however, his smile faded for a moment. "I..." He paused and rubbed his arm without really thinking about it. There were burn marks on his body -- thankfully, parts that could be concealed with clothing. He looked down for a long moment as he tried to gather his mind back quickly. Should he tell Naveen how he had arrived here? What had happened. Even the thought of the events that had occurred brought a tightness to his chest that threatened to tear him apart just like they had when he realized what had happened to Jim.

He'd been quiet and introverted for too long -- he knew Naveen would pick up on that. "I..." He sighed and put on the best smile he could. "Men... pay better here," He said quietly. Sure, it wasn't a much brighter topic at all, but it was easier for him to say. "I still don't have enough to pay for a place or food, hardly... I usually just steal little things and use the showers at the gym place," He shrugged, walking away from the kitchen area and over to the window that looked out to the city streets.

PostSubject: Re: Deja Vu (Tag Naveen)   Deja Vu (Tag Naveen) EmptyFebruary 13th 2013, 11:15 pm

The brightness in Naveen's face drained out as he watched Aladdin, taking too long to answer the question-if things were alright that is. He dropped his arms limply, then slowly moved them behind him, placing the heels of his hands on the counter and grabbing at the edge tightly. His arms were tense as he leaned on them, and he worked hard to keep his face blank.

Naveen knew something bad must've happened, and it killed him to see Aladdin in such pain. He wanted to ask the boy about it, make whatever it was better-or at least less painful-but something in him told him not to. It wasn't his place. Was it? Besides Aladdin obviously didn't want to talk about, based off how he changed his train of thought. Naveen bit on the inside of his lip as Aladdin mentioned his 'profession,' but on the outside he still appeared calm, and without any emotions on his face. Naveen couldn't care less about the stealing-Well, maybe it worried him a bit, cause he didn't want Al to get hurt, but it really didn't rise anything him in-but the men...With Al....It turned his stomach to think about it. But again, Naveen held his tongue. It's Aladdin's life right? A life Naveen wasn't really in anymore, by Aladdin's choice. Who was he to say anything?

Naveen nodded sedately after Aladdin, dropping his gaze to the ground as he dug at the counter with his nails, and then turned around to face the stove-picking up a wooden spoon and stirring the noodles slowly. That's when an idea struck Naveen. "If you need a place to stay, I have a couch here," he offered in an absent-minded tone, shrugging nonchalantly as he kept his eyes on the pot of noodles. He of course hoped that Aladdin would take him up on his offer, but he didn't let his anxiousness show, managing to make himself appear relaxed once more.

Aladdin let out a silent breath of relief as Naveen chose to not pry into what it was that Ali had obviously held back. He knew he needed to tell him, but he couldn't find the words. He didn't want to find the words. He'd gone to the graveyard far too many times. He'd slept beside the stone that proclaimed a simple name. And yet, his mind didn't want that to be real. So, he didn't talk about it. When Naveen spoke up again, Aladdin was grateful to be pulled from his thoughts for that moment.

"Stay...?" He repeated, testing the word on his lips like it were another language. "I..." He rubbed the back of his neck. "I'd love to," He admitted, taking his gaze from the Seattle landscape back to Naveen. "Thank you," He mumbled, his eyes showing how grateful he was, despite how much his pride tried to tell him he could survive on the streets without having to have Naveen for support. He could survive, but not on his own. He knew that. He would be alive, true, but no where near living.

Naveen smiled down, relieved, hearing Aladdin agree to his offer. He stirred the food a bit longer before he pulled out the spoon and turned around to walk over to Aladdin, rubbing his hands, a pleased grin spread across his face. "And hey. This can just be a bed and a roof. You don't have to accept anything beyond that. If you don't want to ," he said lightly, knowing Aladdin had trouble accepting other's help-or at least his help.

Aladdin looked up at Naveen from under his bangs and eyelashes. He smiled a bit, chuckling low in his chest at the other's words. "Just don't offer me anything, and I won't have to say no," He pointed out, winking playfully. "But... Thank you, Navy... For caring, despite how much of an ass I've been to you in the past," He mumbled, his eyes tender. "I don't think you realize how amazing you actually are," He shook his head and smiled a bit.

Naveen chuckled softly and shook his head towards the ground, as he crossed his arms over his chest, after Aladdin winked over to him. "I'm really not that amazing," Naveen protested lightly, with a small laugh and shrugging his shoulders slightly. "And you weren't being an ass," he said, looking up warmly at Aladdin through his lashes-his head cocked slightly to the side. "You were being honest about your feelings. I can't blame you for that," he continued in a deep, soothing voice, lifting his head slightly to look at Aladdin's face more fully as he slowly moved a bit closer to the other male, a loving crooked smile on his face.

Aladdin sighed, looking down to the ground before back up towards Naveen, his brown eyes a little cautious as he noted that the other was getting closer to him. He wasn't sure why he was cautious. Maybe he was scared of losing someone else. But, the smile that Naveen had on his lips only caused for Al's heart to flutter in his chest. He bit his bottom lip and chuckled softly. However, a cough came up, and as it did, the raspy sound that came to his cough due to the smoke damage in his lungs came along with it. He hunched over slightly and held his sides as he coughed, the sting of his burns on his sides telling him to not hold onto himself so tightly. He let go and winced, though he truly tried to hide all of this from the other male. "Sorry... Must be a cold or something," He mumbled, looking anywhere but at Naveen. He'd never been a good liar.

Naveen's smile had just barely started to grow when it fell completely, and his eyes widened-filling with concern-as Al's light chuckle turned into a horrible, raspy cough. He watched as Aladdin nearly doubled over, his chest aching at the sight, and started moving in to help Aladdin when the boy started to stand up again. "Yeah. A cold. I'm sure," he said, unconvinced, as his worry-filled eyes roamed over the boy. "Why don't you take a seat hm? And I'll get you some water," Naveen instructed gently, with a gentle smile and raising an eyebrow playfully, as he turned slightly towards the kitchen and gestured lightly with his head and arm towards the table and chairs.

Aladdin sighed, knowing Naveen didn't buy his story. He walked over to the table and took a seat in one of the chairs. Under the table, he unzipped his jacket enough so that could look at the skin on his sides -- he only had a jacket to cover his torso; no shirt. He made a slight face of disgust as he touched the skin and felt a stickiness. He knew it was blood from where his stitches had opened up. The burn marks had taken off some skin and had to be stitched back together. The coughing only tore it back. The hospital hadn't wanted him to leave when he did. But, he wouldn't miss Jim's funeral. And, he hadn't missed it; he may have been the only one there, but he was there.

He wiped the blood onto the inside of his jacket and zipped it back up before Naveen could return. He could handle a little blood loss. "You don't have to take care of me, Navy," He mumbled, his right hand holding the place on his left side that was bleeding while his other hand fiddled with the wood on the tabletop.

Naveen looked back briefly at Aladdin with concern as he moved back into the kitchen, before turning is attention ahead of him. He grabbed a glass from the cupboard, before he stopped and set it on the counter as he changed his focus and moved to work on the pasta. He pulled out a strainer and set it in the sink and then picked up the noodles to dump them smoothly into the strainer. Once he had the food taken care of, Naveen returned to the glass he had pulled out and filled it up with cool water from the faucet and then turned with a warm smile back to Aladdin-walking over and taking a seat across from the boy.

"I know I don't have to," Naveen countered, his voice soft and deep as he gazed intently at Aladdin's face. A small playful smirk then pulled at his lips as Naveen gently pushed the full glass of water across the table and over to Aladdin. Naveen's eyes flitted slightly over to notice Aladdin was holding his side, and his eyes narrowed a bit in worried suspicion, but they quickly settled again on the other male's face and his smile remained light on his own.

Aladdin gave a nervous smile as he noted Naveen's suspicious gaze on his side. He sighed and took the glass, taking a long drink from it. He coughed slightly, simply because he hadn't been able to drink much since he'd gotten into the new realm. And, with his lungs in the shape they were, coughing was simply in the same category as breathing now. "I'm fine..." He tried to assure the other male, his brown hues warm, but obviously concealing pain. He hated to know that Naveen was worrying about him. He didn't want to cause any such thing for the boy, especially over something so menial as him having left the hospital before fully cared for. "You wouldn't happen to have some bandages, though, would you...?" Aladdin asked hesitantly, smiling sheepishly as he raised the hand that was holding his side to show the blood. "It's not... too bad. Stitches just opened up from my hacking my lungs out," he mumbled, looking away from the other in shame for even asking for help.

Naveen's smile faltered just slightly as Aladdin let out a quiet sigh, but then when the boy started coughing after drinking some water, Naveen's smile fell and his eyes became pained as they remained fixed on Aladdin's face, his head tilting a bit to the side as his brow crinkled in worry. He squinted his eyes and raised an eyebrow in playful skepticism at Aladdin's assurance, his chest aching as he saw the pain in the other male's eyes-or rather how hard Aladdin was trying to conceal his pain. At Aladdin's question, Naveen had to stare at the boy quizzically, but his questioning gaze quickly fell when Aladdin brought up his red hand. Naveen stared at the other boy's hand in slight shock-his mouth agape-for only a few seconds, but it seemed like a lot longer. Naveen's heart had slowed and his breaths had stopped as one thought ran through his head: 'Aladdin's hurt?'

As Aladdin's question registered in his mind, Naveen eventually-and slowly-came back to reality, and turned his concerned, inquisitive gaze up to Aladdin's deep brown hues. "Uh, yeah. Yeah, I have some bandages," he informed Al briskly, as he quickly moved out of his chair and headed over to the small bathroom. He looked quickly through his couple of drawers and cabinets before he found what he was searching for and walked back-with large strides and quick steps-to where Aladdin still sat. As he came up to Aladdin, Naveen transitioned seamlessly from his quick waking to kneeling in front of the boy, and set up his couple supplies beside him before turning his gaze up to Aladdin-looking first at the boy's injured side and then to Al's vulnerable face. "If you'd like, you can take off...Your...And I can help bandage you up," Naveen offered-a bit nervously-gesturing to Aladdin't shirt, and then fumbling with where to place his hands. Naveen finally just rested his hands on his legs and returned his wide, apprehensive gaze to meet Aladdin's.

Deja Vu (Tag Naveen) Empty

Aladdin looked towards Naveen from the corner of his eyes, seeing how the other males mood dropped so drastically when he realized Ali was hurt. His heart reacted with an ache to how quickly Naveen responded and moved to take care of him. Did he really still care that much? Al tried to give a reassuring smile as Naveen knelt in front of him. He didn't want the other to have to take care of him, but he was thankful. He hesitated as Naveen asked him to take off his jacket. He didn't want the other to see his burn scars. But... There really wasnt a way around it.

He sighed and chewed his bottom lip as he unzippsed his jacket and carefully slid it off, wincing as his scars and wound protested to the movement. He set the jacket onto the table and ducked his head, looking at the other through his bangs and lashes. His skin was scarred with marks from the fire, some places stitched up while others were simply scarred over now. He was thin, but not as bad as he had been in the past. Jim and himself had kept a good supply of food. "Here," he mumbled sheepishly, pointing to his side where the worst burn mark had come unstitched. "Just... Wrap the bandages around my abdomen... Unless you know how to stitch," Ali mumbled, his tone shy from having to show just how badly he was hurt. The rest of his body had the same scars.

Naveen kept a straight face as he readied his supplies once more beside him before awkwardly turning his gaze up to the now bare-chested Aladdin. He nodded once in response to the other male's instructions before he picked up a rag to wipe off some of the blood from the boy's body. Naveen worked to keep his face emotionless-despite the agony he felt inside seeing how hurt Aladdin really was-as his eyes focused on what he was doing and his jaw clenched. "Unfortunately, all I can do is clean you off and bandage you up," he said, with a bit of forced laughter-the lightness in his tone not reaching his pained eyes-and only chancing a brief glance up to Aladdin's face before he returned his focus to the boy's abdomen.

Once he had wiped off most of the blood, Naveen set down the rag and picked up some gauze and a wrap. He placed the gauze over the injury and expertly wrapped up Aladdin's body, not letting his eyes look up to the other boy's face, and his own face still serious despite his heart racing as he wrapped his arms around Aladdin every other second and his breath catching every time he caught sight of another scar. "That should be good for awhile," Naveen said-a bit overly cheerful-once he finished, wiping off his hands together-as if they were dirty-and then resting them on his legs as he looked up at Aladdin with a bright smile. "But maybe I should take you to see someone. Like a doctor," he then offered, his gaze turning hopeful as his smile became a bit nervous-and crooked.

Deja Vu (Tag Naveen) Empty

Aladdin winced as Naveen worked, but that wasn't where his pain came from. His pain came from seeing Naveen so torn up just over seeing himself like this. He didn't want Naveen to feel his pain. Once Naveen was done, Aladdin shook his head at the offer for the doctor. "I don't want to see a doctor," He mumbled. "They cost money," He pointed out, shaking his head. He looked down to Naveen and bit onto his bottom lip. He hated seeing him so fragile. Naveen was the strong, happy aura Ali had always loved.

Aladdin rested a hand on Naveen's cheek, his brown eyes studying the other's face. "I'm alright, Navy," He whispered, leaning down and kissing the other's forehead. He gently slid his arms around Naveen, hugging him lightly. He hated this distance between them. They'd always been so close. Even when they were just friends. "Naveen, I... thank you," He whispered against the boys ear. "I know you only put bandages on, but you don't know how much that means to me," He said quietly. He placed a kiss just under his ear.
