Isabella, known as Bella to her father, is a very quiet girl, and very awkward. With people she knows well, she does come out of her shell quite a bit-becoming very energetic-however most people don't bother to put in the time to become close enough to Bella for her to open up and be her true self. So really, it's just her father whom she can be herself around-Well, him and the many stray animals she has brought into their home.
Their home is located on the outskirts on the city of Seattle, in a large house located on an even larger plot of land-far from most other people. Her father-a physics professor at the university of Seattle-is very smart man, who will often tinker and invent in his time off, and is just as socially awkward as his daughter. Her mother passed away when she was just a toddler, leaving Bella with very few memories of her.
In addition to her love of creatures, Bella also loves nature and hiking, but even more than those, she loves to read. When she reads, she becomes completely encapsulated and absorbed in her book, leading to her becoming totally oblivious to anything that is happening right around her. She's just a very sweet, energetic young woman who is unaware of how to carry on a casual conversation with a stranger.
