Time Stands Still ( Tag: Belle )

Flynn runs through the sidewalk of Seattle. The downpour beating against his coat as he breaks through the crowd, hurrying before the store would close. He needed to know if she was Happy, Alive. As he ran, he could see the shop letters and the bright light illuminating through the window. He grins, starting to run towards the direction before being stopped by a stranger.
"Hello, sir! Would you like to know our biggest coupon of the season?!" The Man literally yells at Flynn's face. Flynn simply shakes his head, trying to get past the man, but the man was stubborn. "Come on Sir! You'll love this Deal! It's such a Deal, you might think it was stealing!"

Belle stared out of the window, watching the rain fall. But, there were so many people outside. Too many. She'd never been good with people, and now they were everywhere. The worst part was that none of them were the faces she wanted to see. She hadn't seen Kida nor Eric nor John. But, the worst part was not knowing where Flynn was. Why wasn't he brought here with her...? She wanted to be dreaming. But, three days had passed. She was started to lose it, as she normally did when she was left alone and confused. She got up and hugged her blanket tightly around herself before moving over to the lighted sign that proclaimed the store's name. She hadn't actually opened the store since she got here. It still said 'grand opening coming soon.' Had she put that sign there? She wasn't sure.

Either way, she flipped the switch to turn off the lighted sign and gasped, hating how the lack of that simple light left her in so much darkness. She went over to the candle on her desk and lit it with a lighter she'd found. She didn't like the electricity. Candles reminded her of home. She wanted home. She wanted Flynn. She curled up underneath her desk and pulled her blanket close.

After a few precious minutes wasted, Flynn managed to trick the man. A Trick he picked up from the fellowman that called himself the 'Doorman' as he continuously opened the door for Flynn as he headed out. As he looked back at the Shop, the lights were off. He quickly ran over to the shop, nearly sliding on the slippery pavement. He went up to the door and quickly knocking on the door, hoping he wasn't too late. He happened to wiggle the door nob, the door opening. Flynn blinks before walking in slowly, the darkness surrounding him as the door slammed closed behind him. He looks around before calling a hopeful name, "Belle?"

Belle gasped silently as she heard the door handle open. She peeked over her desk, but couldn't see in the dark. Her candle blew out when the gust from outside hit it. She bit her lip and grabbed the nearest object -- a book. She then hurled it over the desk towards the intruder hard enough to make him fall before she heard his voice. Her name on his lips sent a shiver up her spine. "F-Flynn?!" She gasped, clambering over the desk and falling on the ground beside him. "Shit... Are you alright?!" she whispered, eyes wide as she tried to see him in the pale light from the window. "Flynn...!" she sighed in relief, her head falling onto his chest and her hands clutching his wet shirt.

Flynn grabs his nose quickly after the book smacks into his face. "Son of a-..." Flynn mumbles after falling on the floor. He blinks, seeing a silhouette of a figure nearly falling to ground and saying his name. He quickly wrapped his arms tightly around Belle. "Belle!" He exclaimed, before kissing the top of her head and then showering her face with kisses. "I'm so glad you're Ok."

Belle wrapped her arms around him then and smiled as he kissed her face. "I'm so glad you're here," She whispered, her arms tightening around him. "You have no idea how scared I've been," she shook her head and brought his lips to hers in a tender, deep kiss. "I love you," she whispered against his kiss.

"And I love you." Flynn whispers back, responding to her kiss. He wraps his arms tightly around his waist, kissing her lips feverishly and passionately. As he moved his hand to place on top of her cheek, a sudden strange vibration with a some sort of muffled noise goes off in the pocket of his pants. Flynn jumps slightly, pulling back from the kiss and quickly searches around himself before taking out the small metal box thing from his pocket. It buzzed out of control and the brightness of the screen pained his eyes from being in the darkness so much.

Belle whimpered a soft moan into the kiss, not realizing how much she missed his touch. His kiss. His-- hello. She jumped when she felt the vibration coming from his pocket. She opened her eyes and blinked, wide-eyed as she saw the bright light shining now. "The hell is that?" she muttered under her breath, glaring at the device like it was a spawn of Satan himself. She hissed at it under her breath and hid her face into the crook of his neck.

"I have no idea." He mumbles as he furiously tries to shut it off. He squints, seeing the small letters on the weird device saying, Ignore. He pushes his finger harshly on the glass, moving it around a bit before the vibrating finally stops, the device staying on for a bit more and then turning off just as quickly as it shut off. He sighs heavily in relief, placing the thing on the ground. He looks back at Belle and gives her a goofy grin, before standing up. "Light, my darling? Have you been living in the shadows?"

Belle sighed along with him as the sounds stopped. She nuzzled her head against his shoulder, then smiled sheepishly at his question. She rolled onto her back and blinked up at him in the moonlight. She nodded, her smile childish. "They scare me... there's no fire in them. Only... Sparks. A-And, don't touch these things!" she whispered, crawling over to the wall and pointing to one of the electrical sockets. "They hurt," she pouted. She got up and moved over to her desk, finding her lighter and lighting a candle to illuminate the room. "I haven't gone outside," she admitted, walking over to the door and locking it. She looked outside and bit her lip, closing the curtains then. "I don't like it here... But, it's a little better now that you're here," she admitted, walking over to him and reaching in his pocket, fishing out the odd metal box. "This thing is loud," she mumbled, studying it. "But... the feeling it made wasn't that bad," she whispered, giggling slightly afterwards.

As Flynn listened to Belle, smiling as he saw that even if the worlds did change, they could never change Belle. "I love you, so much." He says, reaching down and kissing her lips passionately. He pulls away with a smile before walking away towards the walls. He walked around the shop, trying to find the 'switch' that turned on the powered lights. As he feels the walls, he fingertips happened upon this switch and he flicked it upwards, shining the lights on, temporarily blinding him from the brightness.

Belle giggled as he kissed her lips, returning the kiss just as tenderly. She watched as he moved along the wall, looking for something. However, the second he found a switch and turned it on, she gasped sharply and dove under her desk, hiding underneath her blanket like the building had just exploded.

Flynn looks around before frowning, seeing a bump under a blanket. He walks over to the desk, kneeling down. He lifts the blanket up ever so slightly, revealing his beloved's face. "Hey... It's ok, I'm here." Flynn offers Belle his hand.

Belle blinked when he exposed her face, taking note that he wasn't consumed in flames. "The... place... isn't on fire?" She questioned as she peeked out from under the blanket more. She looked around. It was bright. It was coming from those weird things on the ceiling. She glared at them and then looked to Flynn's hand. She took it and stood up, not without bumping her head under the desk first. "Ow..." she muttered, rubbing her head.

Flynn shakes his head at Belle before helping her out from under the desk. "Are you Ok?" He chuckles, kissing where she bumped her head at. He looks around the bookstore, seeing that it defiantly had Belle's touch all over it. Unique, Insane, but all yet Organized, it worked quite beautifully.

Belle smiled as he kissed her head. She followed his gaze around the store, and then gasped, seeing a book out of place. She scurried over to it and put it back onto its shelf. "I wish they would have put me in a place with a bed... Stupid desk has hurt my back," she pouted, leaning against a door.

"Belle... Did you check if there was an upstairs?" Flynn says, looking around the place before seeing a tiny hallway, a stairway leading upwards. He looks back a Belle with a raised eyebrow before heading towards the hallway and up the stairs. He tilted his head as he saw a door blocking his way. Turning the knob, he called down to Belle. "Belle, come up here."

Belle blinked, smiling sheepishly at his question. "It was... dark up there..." she mumbled, shrugging her shoulders. She followed when he called for her and gasped slightly, seeing that there indeed an upstairs. But, her eyes were caught on a dress hanging against the bookshelf, like someone had been adjusting it. Her breath caught in her throat. "That's... my moms wedding dress," she whispered, walking over to it and touching it gently with her fingertips. She smiled to herself and then chewed her bottom lip.

Flynn walks slowly behind her, wrapping his arm around her waist gently. "It's beautiful..." Flynn whispers into her ear, kissing her shoulder lightly. He hand slowly trails up her silky arm, all the way to her fingertips. His skin grazes across the crystal of the ring on her finger, revealing the ring that he proposed to her back in Nirethia.

Belle smiled softly, leaning into his embrace. "It is..." she nodded, watching as his fingers went to her hand. She grinned beside herself as he touched her ring. "So... even if we're not in Nirethia anymore... Does that offer still apply?" She questioned, turning in his arms and wrapping her arms around his neck.

"Mmm... That depends." Flynn whispers, kissing her lips gently first before kissing her neck and shoulder. "Is your answer going to be the same as last time?" Flynn looks into her golden eyes as his finger tips gliding up and down her curves before resting on her hips, pulling them closer to his body.

Belle arched a brow and giggled, running a hand through his hair. As he trailed his hands along her frame, she hummed a sound of pleasure in the back of her throat, smirking as she was pulled closer to him. "Hmm... And, what did I say last time?" She questioned, tilting her head to the side. "I'm pretty sure I laughed," she grinned.

"You told me No, as well." Flynn adds, raising a brow to match hers but a grin playing on his lips. His arm wraps around her waist, pressing her body against his. His hand glides down her thigh before lifting her leg to wrap around his waist. Flynn lightly nips the bottom of her lip before kissing her cheek, traveling to her ear. "Will you marry me, Belle?" With each word, he whispered it lowly against her skin as he nips at her neck and her shoulder.

Belle smirked, letting him move her closer with no objections. "Hmm..." she hummed softly as he whispered in her ear. She pressed her lips against his ear and smiled. "No," She whispered before giggling. "I'll consider it... If you can find me," she whispered, smiling. She put his hands over his eyes, then took off, finding a closet and ducking in to it. She curled up in the bottom, pulling clothes down ontop of herself like a child would in a game of hide and seek.

Flynn blinks before smiling, shaking his head at Belle. He looks around briefly before walking towards the closet he heard Belle dive into. He knocks on it, "Knock, Knock." He looks down at the pile of clothes, kneeling down next to it before his hands dove into it, tickling her all over.
